Πράξη 2 Ο Θησεύς πηγαίνει στον Κάτω Κόσμο για να σώσει τον φίλο του Πειρίθου, που τιμωρείται επειδή προσπάθησε να παντρευτεί την Περσεφόνη, γυναίκα του Πλούτωνα. Αλλά μάταια.
