Pakse Loop – The Bolaven Plateau @Haliscelife

I woke up at around 8:00 am and stood up. I packed my bag and went downstairs. I had to buy rubber rope to attach the bag to the motor. The owner of the hotel said that there are many shops on the main road and that I can find the rope there. I got on the bike and started looking for a shop. The first shop I went to sent me to the side and said I could find it there. Thanks to him, he went to the vintage shop and helped me buy the necessary threads. I bought 3 rubber ropes and a cap rope and paid 22 Kip ( USD). I was pretty excited for the days ahead and couldn’t wait to finally get started. I was in the capital city of Pakse Champasak province and the second most populous city in Laos and it was around 8:30 am. Nestled between the Mekong and the Xe Don River, the area seems to have made itself an interesting tourist destination and a really great location to explore the beautiful surrounding landscapes.
