Iran has reportedly unveiled its new homegrown long-range air-launched cruise missile called the Asef. The missile aims to address accuracy shortfalls in Iran’s arsenal and increase its survivability and operational flexibility. According to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), the missile appears similar to the Soviet-era Kh-55.
