Mudlogger - Softcut - Monome Norns 000000 script

This is Softcut. It’s an exclusive bonus track from my new album West Of Shetland at It was made with the 000000 script for monome norns. It’s a 6 track looper that let you manipulate all the parameters with a midi controller as well as internal lfo’s and random. There’s over 100 controls you can assign. The six loops are like digital tape loops - you can pitch, level, pan, speed, slow, shorten, lengthen, dub, overdub any loop at any time. There are assignable LFO’s and filters and too many things to completely alter what you record. In the video I’m using just 2 loops and playing with the speed and pitches. All sound and reverb are recorded directly from norns. You can also record the outputs internally directly to the tape buffer on Norns also. The sound source are 2 loops from another track called How The West Lost taken from the same album which are #whimsicalraps Mangrove oscillators. The script can be found here : Album Mastered by
