Quantized inertia (MiHsC) is a controversial theory that attempts to explain the dark matter problem and the EMDrive. It is based on an accelerating observer experiencing Unruh radiation that produces a force differential loosely based on the Casimir effect. But an accelerating observer does not affect quantum fluctuations unless they are hit. Unruh radiation requires two separate realities which can’t happen. And the Rindler horizon and the cosmic horizon are not physical boundaries that could cause a Casimir effect.
