Shawn Tubbs (Carrie Underwood Band) demos the new Synergy Amps Syn1 tube preamp and modules

On the left side you have the Friedman BE Module, thick and fat modd’d Plexi tones and on the right, you have the Synergy B Man, with a more subtle yet powerful pronounced mid range. Within this short section not only are you hearing two completely different amp tones, but how well they work together. It’s worth putting your headphones on and listening to this first section a few times, taking one ear out at a time and listening to the differing tones and then playing both together. If modern high gain tones aren’t really your thing, Shawn then leads you into a classic edgy Strat tone with the Synergy Tweed Bassman style – you’ll notice that not only does it sound completely different in EVERY aspect from the first two tones, but it’s just the most authentic Tweed tone you can imagine – gritty, kinda scooped, and most importantly, articulate with and edge, clear yet dirty – a pure true tube driven amp tone. And then just to make sure we are all paying attention, Shawn takes us back to the Friedman for some powerful, thick and gainy lead tones. As a final thoughts, Shawn brings in the MetroPlex module, designed with George Metropoulos plexi - George’s work on 100w SuperLeads is legendary, andyou can own the decades of experience of working on these amps in this one module. And yes, that was all from the Syn1 module. Flawlessly creating the most desirable amp tones instantly just by swapping out the modules – and all of that was through the power section of a Suhr Bella Amp – in this instance being driven as a ‘slave’ or as ‘additional’ channels you get the feeling on how this incredible system works and most importantly, sounds.
