Georgian Society Is Against Russian Aggression, But What Say the Authorities?
Georgia has suffered from Russian aggression twice, in 1992 and 2008, as Ukraine faced Russian invasions in 2014 and 2022. Ukrainians and Georgians stood together in hard times, and the Georgian society was keen on supporting the current Ukrainian struggle against the occupiers from Russia. But the government of Georgia may have other plans: the flights from Russia have been resumed, the visa regime suspended, and trade with the aggressor-state ’blooms.’ Why it happened that way? We will try to find answers in the report.
