1950 Fender Super Amp: Naked and Thrashed but still SUPER !!

This video features the repair of a heavily used, but rare and wonderful 1950 Fender Super of Billy G. Although it had already been recapped, the tone was awful, the output transformer was flapping in the breeze, and the wiring looked like linguini after a hurricane ;) Through careful replacement of key capacitors, the tone was restored, the wiring replaced (as needed), and the OPT repaired. With the help of Ollie & Jack, we will audio test the final result, as well as open a splendid box o’ tubes from Sweden, and share some valuable basic concepts.
