Heavyocity Gravity 2 Trailer Rescore #HeavyocityGRAVITY2Rescore

My attempt at the Gravity 2 Rescore Competition By Heavyocity. I felt it was important that most of the graphical motions or movements happening in the video had a sound associated with them. At times, it can seem a little busy or too much, but I did my best to create sounds that would match what was happening visually, make compelling music, and meet the criteria of creating a sound mnemonic. Hopefully everything (sound effects and music) is mixed well together. Over the years, I’ve been able to procure several Heavyocity products which were put to good use here, namely the original Gravity, Damage 2, Novo, and Symphonic Destruction. I also used the VSTs Serum, Diva, and Spire, as well as effects from Baby Audio and Sound Toys. Whoosh by Tonsturm was instrumental as well. At times it felt like I wasn’t making any progress, but I finally figured out a solution to a part of the video that I got stuck in, and then got to a point where I was happy with the end result.
