On the second day, we gear up for the Desert Drive, a 4WD challenge through stunning red sand dunes and spinifex plains. However, adventure often comes with unexpected turns. I encounter a mechanical issue with my vehicle, adding a real-world twist to our exploration. This unforeseen hiccup means we have to cut our trip short, but not before soaking in the beauty of Welford’s rugged landscapes. The journey back isn’t just a retreat but an exploration in itself.
