Benetton, a company leader in the retail, had a significant production increase and the existing logistic centre needed to be enlarged. The purpose of the redesign of the automated warehouse in Castrette (Treviso) was to optimize the existing volumes, increasing storage capacity and handling flexibility, and managing large and small LUs in a continuous cycle reducing vehicle loading times, and subdividing the merchandise by the single retail outlets at the moment of shipping.
