Purple pitcher plant,also known as Devil’s Boots, Side-Saddle Flower, Hunter’s Cup,is a perennial herb in the genus shape is similar to the nepenthes, it can secrete nectar. Insects lured by the nectar lose their footing and fall into the bottle, and the digestive will digest and absorb the insects. The leaves and roots of purple pitcher are used as medicine.
