I think with recent manga events, I’ve been feeling extra emotional about Yato and Yukine’s relationship and the unconditional way Yato loves and wants to care for him. Obviously, this is based on that, but if you’re anime only this song definitely applies as well. I took a lot of inspo from several events including Yukine’s ablution all the way until he becomes a Nora. Also I feel like this should go without saying but this is NOT a romantic song.
