It was recorded during the martial law in Poland and showcased political lyrics, all written by Gaweł Jedynak. NIGHT SHIFT met with positive critical reception and commercial success.[4] In early 1984, it was awarded certification for selling over 1,500 copies.[5] It spawned the minor local hits “Dance in the Fallout“, “Arkanoid” and “Annabel”.
