Elysium Exoskeleton costume all-metal build

This is a replica of the exoskeleton costume from the movie Elysium (2013), built for realistic cosplay with mechanical parts created by CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and investment casting in a home-made foundry. It’s a “fake-real“ prop that lends cosplay some realistic dimension and weight, for those that don’t like playing around with plastic or foam props that feel “fake“. The parts are not physically attached to each other in a way that could be used to lift or push anything.
