Former Labour MP Chris Williamson says Azhar Ali was wrong to apologise “because what he said was not antisemitic“, before going on to tell Nadine that he thinks Gaza “is a concentration camp“. This comes after audio emerged that appeared to show former Labour MP Graham Jones use the words “f*** Israel” at the same meeting that led to the withdrawal of support for Rochdale candidate Azhar Ali, while also allegedly suggesting that British people who volunteer to fight with the Israeli Defence Forces should be “locked up”.
