“Some cute ideas seen at the Institute of Patentees Exhibition.“ First invention to be demonstrated is the tennis racquet with a handle which unscrews so that it can be placed inside a bag. C/U of a woman unscrewing the handle of the tennis racquet. She smiles at the camera. The next idea is a hand-propelled luggage carrier. M/S of the woman placing a suitcase inside a metal carrier. She ties a belt around the case. She then lifts up the trolley and then wheels it along. The next brain-wave demonstrated is a device that turns an electric iron into in a hot plate. C/U of iron being attached to a flat metal plate. This is then turned upside down. A plate of food is then placed on top. Was an item in Eve’s Film Review issue 490.
