“Let It Ride“ was written by former Bee Gees Barry Gibb and Vince Melouney at Barry’s house on the Isle of Man where they recorded an acoustic demo. Tall Poppy Syndrome have “supercharged“ Barry and Vince’s original arrangement with an electric “Oasis meets Neil Young and Crazy Horse“-style recording built on a foundation of Clem Burke’s powerful drumming and Alec Palao’s unique, melodic bass lines. Vince contributes some exciting Jeff Beck-influenced lead guitar with Jonathan Lea adding an assortment of guitar textures while Paul Kopf tops the track with his energetic vocals.
