Stopping the UAE takeover of the Telegraph is an “absolute no-brainer”, a peer has said, as the government was urged to speed up its decision on the deal. During an urgent question in the House of Lords, members lined up to demand Culture Secretary Lucy Frazer and the broadcasting watchdog Ofcom expedite their investigations into the takeover.
