Baltic Sea Shipping Visualized

A visualisation of Baltic Sea traffic based on regional maritime monitoring conducted by countries in the Baltic Sea region as part of the HELCOM cooperation. Ship movement data is from the regional HELCOM AIS system established in 2005 and administered by the HELCOM AIS Expert Working Group. Accident data is based on the HELCOM accident data collected annually since 1998 as part of the HELCOM MARITIME group activities.
