It’s very challenging task due to the ergonomics of the instrument and often you need to combine 3 different scales to achieve some interesting results. And even then you’re limited with the options of which chords you can strike at once. Because you can only hit 2 closest tonefields with one hand - and this problem doesn’t exist on other melodic percussion. “Cantus Ferreus“ translates as “song of the steel“ This composition is the part of my new upcoming album.
