LEGO Yule Log

An animated LEGO Yule Log just in time for the holidays! This animation took 2 all-nighters of building and planning, but I think it was all worth it. The actual animation only lasts a few frames, but this has been looped back to create a charming 12 minute animation that you can share with your family and friends. The flickering light effect was created by alternating various Lego translucent elements over 2 LED’s powered by an HO-scale train transformer. More behind the scenes videos on this anima
