Norway will ban the serving of alcohol in bars and restaurants as part of new restrictions aimed at stopping an expected surge of Omicron cases.
Sky News Australia discussed the issue with NoHo Norway CEO Karl Henning-Svendsen who said despite the “millions“ to be lost financially, the restrictions are necessary to curb the virus.
“It’s tough ... I have about 700 employees, young people - a lot of students, so it’s a tough message to give them right before Christmas – it’s not fun,“ he told Sky News Australia.
