Igor Chislenko, The Wasp | Goals, Skills & Assists

Career highlights of Igor Chislenko, “the wasp“, arguably the greatest winger USSR ever had. Despite a relative lack of height, in the 1960’s Igor Chislenko was one of Europe’s most dynamic outside - or inside-rights. He had played 300 league games for FC Dinamo Moscow, winning two Soviet league titles and a Soviet cup on one occasion. He was the best Soviet forward in the 1966 World Cup, but their prospects of reaching the final disappeared when he was sent off during the dramatic semi-final against West Germany. He had played 54 times for USSR and scored impressive 21 goals. Music: Ondolut – Blühmen
