’Utterly disgraceful’: Scientists ’covering up their tracks’ on COVID origins

Author Matt Ridley says the behaviour of scientists and the scientific establishment in not wishing to investigate the origins of COVID and in covering up their tracks has been “utterly disgraceful”. “It’s a major scandal that needs to be properly looked into,” he told Sky News host Sharri Markson. Mr Ridley discussed with Ms Markson about the origins of the coronavirus. The pair wrote the first two books investigating the origins of COVID-19. “If this had happened in any other country in the world than China, I think there would have been enormous pressure to do a much greater investigation,” Mr Ridley said. “To find out what went on.”
