Much of the footage was shot stealthily in Teheran, using an iPhone 14 to avoid coming to the attention of authorities and potential arrest. Singer Mani Mostofi and Guitarist Dan Binaei are both the children of Iranian immigrants and “Eid” represents the band digging into their family stories after the 1979 Revolution. “Eid” features guest appearances by renowned Persian classical musician, Fared Shafinury, and UK-Iranian hardcore legend, Patrick Hassan (xRepentancex / The Temple Guard).
