Kodama Hiroyuki and Cornelius Boots giant jinashi shakuhachi improv duet

October 27, 2016. Matsukawa Town, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Kodama-san shares with me his giant bamboo. He plays the 3.7, I grab the 3.3 having no idea what I am in for--no pitch knowledge or warm up before hand. It felt like we explored the sounds for 1 minute but it was more than 6.
