Spanish farmers block capital’s streets demanding protection from drought

At least 200 tractors blocked the streets of Madrid, as some 500 farmers from across the country staged a rally in front of Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture. The protesters demanded compensation for a severe drought that threatens their livelihoods.
