“Amapola“ is a popular song, written in 1924 by Spanish composer Joseph LaCalle with Spanish lyrics although the English language lyrics were written by Albert Gamse. Ennio Morricone made an arrangement of it and incorporated it with his music in the film Once Upon a Time in America.
