Edmund Parlow | Little Romance,

Edmund Parlow (1855-1944); music director, composer Edmund Parlow was active in many musical associations in Frankfurt/M. He became the conductor of the Melodie or Melodia Singing Society in 1881. From 1887 to 1900, he was documented as the conductor of the Evangelical Church Singing Society, and in 1892, also of the Choral Society. He then held positions with the Philharmonic Society (1900), the Frankfurt Ladies’ Singing Society (1915), the Raff Conservatory (1918), and the church choir of the German Evangelical Reformed Community (1920). According to Jansa, he co-founded the Parlow-Zilcher Piano School in Offenbach with Paul Zilcher. In addition, he provided private lessons. Works — Over 150 works with opus numbers and many more without, mostly smaller pieces, including educational piano works, arrangements, and songs with piano accompaniment.
