USMC M38 SDMR Rifle at the Designated Marksman Qualification Course

U.S. Marines with 2nd Marine Division participate in a designated marksman (DM) qualification course at Stone Bay, N.C., May 1, 2018 The M38 Squad Designated Marksman Rifle (SDMR) is derived from the M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle (IAR) but different optics: the Leupold TS-30A2 Mark 4 MR/T 36mm scope. It is also mounted with the KAC QDSS Suppressor.
