“Purple Raga“ for Jimi Hendrix Performed by Matthew Montfort on Godin Glissentar

Guitarist Matthew Montfort of the world music group Ancient Future was inspired to create this modern raga based on some melodic elements employed in the music of Jimi Hendrix after seeing a photo of Jimi Hendrix in the front row of an Indian music concert, in awe of the music.
