As announced, I herewith present to you a clean-and-clear (special long) version of “Schecharchoret“, coming from a long-play (“Esther Ofarim“) and a CD record (»Mein Weg zu Dir«) (= “My Way towards You“ / «Ma voie vers toi»). Perhaps this song is on Israeli record editions too (which I don’t know). “Schecharchóret / Shecharchóret / Shekharkhóret“ means “sun-tanned thus dark-skinned girl“ (yes, thankyou; you are all right – but Conmad has given the most exact definition, i think.) Also: if somebody knows the writer/composer of this song even if it is a traditional, a folksong, so please communicate it to us ... (Thankyou all for having done it!)
