Ukranian Nazi memorial in Canada removed: The memorial to the 14th Waffen SS Division in Oakville, Canada, has been taken down, video shows. From 2020: Police had initially referred to vandalism of the Ukrainian Nazi memorial in Oakville as a “hate crime“ they were investigating. From 2023: The Canada Files found that Yvan Baker’s mother opposed the Oakville Mayor’s condemnation of the memorial in 2020. Good riddance to this memorial. Defenders of it showcased themselves as Nazi apologists, proving to be the memorial’s only positive result. There’s still more Ukrainian Nazi memorials in Canada; they should all be taken down.
