Huey Pierce Long, (1893-1935), was a american senator from the State of Louisiana, known for his populist and Social views, and a serious candidate for the american presidency. He was killed by his political enemies, shot by Carl Weiss in 1935. His Magna opus was the “Share your wealth“ programm, a income redistribution move to ease the social tensions in america and increase the standart of living.
