UIC student shows solidarity for Palestine during Graduation

Jenin Alharithi, the Vice President of SJP at UIC takes a stand at her graduation ceremony by holding up a Palestinian flag that says “U of I System divest from genocide”. The Chancellor of the university has allegedly refused to meet with Palestinian students and open dialogues. The university is said to have ties and partnerships with Israeli and Zionist institutions and weapons manufacturers.
