Crimean 122-mm D-30 howitzer crews destroyed Ukrainian infantry near Verbovoye, Zaporozhye area. Reconnaissance units of the Don Cossack Airborne Assault Regiment of the Feodosia Airborne Forces discovered a group of infantrymen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces trying to gain a foothold in advanced positions northwest of Verbovoye. Their coordinates were transmitted to the artillery control post. The artillery crews of the 122 mm D-30 howitzers destroyed the enemy before they could disengage with well-aimed fire from closed firing positions.
