Side A treats us to an arresting chorus of tenderly bellowing organ movements. The recording also incorporates faint trembling echoes of what seems like the touch of a pedal or the release of a key, further imbuing the work with a deeply human element. Side B explores a different yet equally halting movement, featuring an ambient refrain laden with both, a sense of grief and sanguinity. Throughout the hour long duration of both works, it is hard not to be moved by their ever repeating cycles of emotive resonance, becoming not simply meditations on movement, but on time itself.
