Giraffes (1940-1949)

British Instructional Films Ltd presents a Classroom Film. Giraffes in their enclosure at London Zoo. A young giraffe is seen with its mother. We see the giraffes eating and a baby giraffe running around the enclosure while a keeper feeds the mother giraffe. A giraffe eats from a bowl on the ground. C/U of head of giraffe as it eats and its legs. Keeper puts bowl of food on the ground and the giraffe spreads its front legs in a comical fashion to get low enough to eat from the bowl. C/U of giraffe’s horns. C/U of head as it munches. C/U of head and front legs then pan down to knees and hooves. Back legs and tail in C/U. Giraffe sticks out its tongue. Giraffe walks in enclosure.
