【京都 桜の名所】醍醐寺の桜 : Daigoji Temple and Cherry Blossoms（Kyoto, Japan）

世界遺産の醍醐寺と桜を撮影いたしました。晴れ予報をものともしない突風とにわか雨に驚きましたが広大な敷地はいつも通り優雅な様相でした。 Daigo-ji (醍醐寺, Daigo-ji) is a Shingon Buddhist temple in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan. Its main devotion (honzon) is Yakushi. Daigo, literally “ghee“, is used figuratively to mean “crème de la crème“ and is a metaphor of the most profound part of Buddhist thoughts.
