PI3K AKT mTOR Pathway (and the effects)

*PIP2 is a membrane-bound PHOSPHOLIPID (not protein) Hey Friends, today is all about the PI3K AKT mTOR pathway. It is generally activated by Receptor Tyrosine Kinases. The mTOR pathway leads to cell cycle promotion and is often highly active (upregulated) in cancer. Please note that cell signalling is a rather complex topic, so there is so much crosstalk. My video is just a brief introduction into the main and basic players in this pathway. A very good overview everything you can find here: Thanks, Henrik
