Hey Friends,
today is all about the PI3K AKT mTOR pathway. It is generally activated by Receptor Tyrosine Kinases. The mTOR pathway leads to cell cycle promotion and is often highly active (upregulated) in cancer. Please note that cell signalling is a rather complex topic, so there is so much crosstalk. My video is just a brief introduction into the main and basic players in this pathway.
