Chaos at Sydney’s Port Botany last night as protestors blockaded a ZIM Shipping boat bound for Israel. 19 were arrested including Maritime Union of Australia branch secretary Paul Keating. They now face fines that have recently been increased to $22K and up to two years jail. Angry that Australia is providing military aid to a plausible genocide in Gaza, the crowd chanted: “ZIM Shipping out of Australia!“, “Ceasefire now!“ and “Albanese, blood on your hands!“.
