1958 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, drive around

Hello folks, I made this video because there was alot of questions as to the drivabilty and current state of this vehicle. This video was taken today 10/29/2013. As you can see I was wrong about the last registered date as the sticker shows 2005 not 2009. This was the first start in over a month, as you can tell by the little puff of smoke and the hard start. Notice that the odometer is correct and works as it should. First drive down the road was a little slow to ensure everything was still in working order. Second time I got on it coming out the parking lot, notice the button change into high performance range. This is why you couldn’t hear the shift. The buzzing noise was the curb finder (little piece of wire that makes a horrible noise when it touch’s anything), It was bent, after a little tweaking so it didn’t rub the ground, it was good to go. When checking the windows I remember that the drivers side rear button was broken. There is a brand new one in the trunk. Any other questions. Please ask
