The strategy here is to hit the blue fire pad as many times as possible to stack reserves. However, if you stay on the turbo pad, no extra reserves will be add, so my solution was to use the wall geometry as a tool to land on the ground right before the blue fire pad, then coming back to the pad successfully add more reserves.
