FLYGANDE JACOB Recipe | Swedish chicken casserole Wow, I just made the most unconventional Swedish comfort food ever - Flygande Jacob (Flying Jacob)! Thank you so much, Oscar, for showing me this really fun and tropical tasting Swedish chicken casserole :-D Such an easy family dish that consists of chicken, cream, chilli ketchup, curry powder, bananas, roasted peanuts and bacon. The dish is cooked in an oven and is usually served with rice and a salad. It was invented by Ove Jacobsson who worked in the air freight industry, hence the name.
