Classic stuff. We had the first school in St. Louis that brought Sifu Dan to town, starting in 1984. We had small, private classes with him about 1/2 the day and then the classes for the public were held. First day of this one, I’m in yellow t-shirt and blue shorts. 2nd. day I’m in white t shirt. Jay D’Amato is there too, founder and president of CMAA. He has a sleeveless t shirt and striped shorts. Also, Stan Brooks, one of us few Combat JKD Instructors from the East St. Louis Branch. Stan is slender, black guy, The purpose in putting this up after all these decades is to pay Homage to Sifu’s Dan and Bruce. We all benefited so much from the training and guidance received from Sifu Dan, Cass Magda and Paul Vunak back in the day.
