Abstract: Pancreatic duct stones are a common complication of chronic pancreatitis. Although most pancreatic duct stones can be targeted by extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and extracted by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, large and radiolucent stones remain a therapeutic challenge.
