sai2S Guide (PaintTool SAI2 Dark Mode & Custom Themes)

note: This video is outdated, newer versions of sai2S do not require running a seperate app. I’ll make a new video soon enough. You can find more info about sai2S on my dA page here: sai2S is a mod I made for the drawing application “PaintTool SAI2“ which adds dark mode support & allows you to create custom UI themes. This video covers installation & general usage of sai2S, I hope it’s helpful! 00:00 - The default sai2 experience with blinding UI. 00:12 - Install sai2S by unzipping the download, drag to your sai2 directory & launch it. Pin to your taskbar by dragging. 00:54 - Creating new themes 01:30 - Finding which Theme ID a specific element is using from the Colours tab. 02:08 - Some elements share the same Theme ID which you may not like. 02:13 - We can address this by adding a new theme colour for the element we want to change and update its Theme ID to the new theme colour. 03:09 - Or we can assign a colour individually to an element by setting its Theme ID to 0 and using its “CustomRGB“ value instead of a theme colour. 03:45 - Change which theme is installed. 04:05 - Share your custom themes so other people can use them (send them the .sai2STheme file) 04:26 - Delete themes 04:30 - Install themes that other people create by putting the theme file in your sai2 directory and launch sai2SManager. 04:56 - Uninstall sai2S and restore the default sai2 theme/icon. sai2S project page: kofi page:
