Houdini Adventure - Magical FX Protection Dome

Hello everyone and welcome to another Houdini Adventure! Last few days I`ve been working on some magic fx inside houdini. As a reference I used the protection dome from the harry potter universe. In the film, they used it to protect hogwarts from its enemies. As a big fan of the film, I really love the visual effects in it. Therefore, eventhough i do make more often commercials effects at my job, I thought I might give it a try in my free time. Here you can see what I came up with and In this Tutorial I want to walk you through my thinking process as well as showing you all the techniques used to create this kind of effect.
