The Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft hatch was opened on 11 September 2024, at 21:58 UTC (17:58 EDT). Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexey Ovchinin (Алексей Овчинин), Ivan Vagner (Иван Вагнер) and NASA astronaut Don Pettit begin a six month mission on the International Space Station (ISS).
